Vision and Mission
CCEP Vision
We envision a community where every child flourishes, every educator is empowered, and research and practice grow together to shape a more equitable future for young children and families.
CCEP Mission
CCEP fulfills its mission through four interconnected commitments.

1- High Quality Early Childhood Education Program
We provide a welcoming, inclusive, and research-informed environment where every child is supported to grow, learn, and thrive. Guided by a child-led, play-based philosophy and a commitment to equity, we honor each child’s unique strengths and background – nurturing curiosity, belonging, and holistic development across all domains.
2-Teacher Training Facility
We serve as a model laboratory school bridging research and practice, offering hands-on professional preparation for pre- and in-service early childhood educators. Embedded in a living classroom environment, we cultivate reflective, inquiry-driven practitioners who translate evidence-based knowledge into responsive, developmentally appropriate teaching.
3-Family and Community Partnership
We build authentic, reciprocal relationships with families and the broader early childhood community – grounded in mutual respect, open communication, and shared purpose. Through intentional collaboration and engagement, we strengthen the connections between home, school, and the wider network of support surrounding each child.
4-Early Childhood Research Hub
We advance the field through scholarly inquiry, innovation, and reflection. As a laboratory school at the intersection of research and practice, we generate and apply knowledge that informs curriculum, pedagogy, and policy – contributing meaningful insights that elevate the profession and support the well-being of young children.
